The Lima–Paris Action Agenda was launched during COP 20 as a platform for accelerating climate action from the widest possible range of stakeholders through enhanced cooperation. Its objective is to engage state and non-state actors alike in national and international partnerships with potential for real impact.
Representatives of France and Peru, H.E. Minister Laurent Fabius and Ambassador Jorge Voto-Bernales, together with Janos Pasztor (UN Secretary-General’s Climate Change Support Team) and Christiana Figueres, will present the vision behind the Lima–Paris Action Agenda and explain how this vision is being realized through scaled-up cooperative action. They will focus on specific areas of the action agenda and will reflect on its evolution. An update on the NAZCA portal, which was launched in Lima, will also be provided.
